Meat-Shaped Stone

Label Story

The Meat-Shaped Stone is a natural agate.  The layers of different colours of the agate are the impurities during the forming process.  The sculptor drilled the top of the stone and dyed colour into it, eventually created this vivid masterpiece.  Its appearance is like a belly pork stew, and given the name of “Meat-Shaped Stone”.  It is called the three treasures of National Palace Museum with Mao-kung Ting and Jadeite Cabbage with Insects.

Distillery Introduction

Clynelish is one of the most distilleries of Diageo.  This distillery is closed to sea, therefore, its single malt whisky has island whisky taste with its unique style.  Its waxy smell is an essential elements of the world leading blended whisky, Johnny Walker.  Needless to say, Clynelish whisky has a distinctive taste which you are unable to find in other whisky products.

Tasting Note

  • Nose:Soft and delicate honey apple, the acidity of passion fruits brings out a hint of citrus and orange peel.
  • Palate:A bit of saltiness with a hint of lemony acidity, and appears dried fruits, treacle later, and obvious cask flavor in the end.
  • Finish:A subtle bitter flavor of chocolate, the scent of orange peel, and salty flavor.
