Springbank distillery is located in Cambeltown, Scotland, where it was used to be an important place of whisky making. There were 34 distilleries located here in its peak era. It witnesses the rise and fall of two hundred years Scotch whisky industry. Springbank was founded in 1828, and it’s still the only self-efficient distillery from growing malt, distilling, maturation, and bottling. In addition, it still insists on using 100% floor malting by men without considering the cost. It attempts to use men instead of machine in every possible way. Only family run business is able to insist on the traditional production. So we are still able to taste the most authentic and classic Springbank whisky.

【Tasting Note】

Nose: Mint mixed with root beer candies, and gradually developed into the smell of butter and cinnamon.
Palate: Very refreshing sweetness in the mouth, after a while it became rich cinnamon with some cured meat in the throat, and slowly developed into the sweetness of vanilla cake.
Finish: Great floral note, accompanied by the soft sweetness of candies lasting in the mouth.
