Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Linkwood 1973

Decanter Series

Or Sileis Decanter Series is a series of high aged whisky for Or Sileis fans.  We particularly select Linkwood, one of the most important distilleries of Diageo, and bottle its whisky in a Scottish handmade premium decanter, in order to emphasize its rarity and uniqueness.

Linkwood distillery was founded by Peter Brown in 1821, and started operating officially in 1825.  His son, William, took over in 1868, and started big renovation in 1872.  Although the distillery was purchased by Diageo, Linkwood becomes an important part of blended whisky, due to its clean and mellow whisky.  Linkwood installed another four pairs of stills in 1971, it uses new type of tube condenser, and produces a totally different flavor of whisky.  Since most of Linkwood whisky is used as the base liquid of blended whisky, therefore, it is very rare to see a high aged Linkwood single malt single cask whisky in current market.  Because only less than 2% of total production is used for single malt whisky bottling, and a high age Linkwood single malt single cask is like a cherry on top!  This Linkwood whisky is definitely a plus for your collection.
