Label Story

The Freighter Politician was loaded with 260,000 bottles of whisky in total, which is a huge temptation for the local Scottish, who have no whisky to drink.  When they are aware of the whisky on the ship, the illegal night salvage started, it even attracts to the residents of Lewis Island.  For them, it is totally reasonable to take the goods on the sea.  However, the local custom officer, Charles McColl does not feel the same way.  Especially this batch of whisky was originally going to export to the States, and did not pay any tax.  Therefore, the customs did official salvages on the sea, they searched some villages in the neighborhood several times as well. 

Distillery Introduction

Glentauchers is located in the outskirt of a forest near the town of Keith, Speyside.  It was founded by James Buchanan and W.P. Lowrie.  Though Buchanan knows nothing about Scotch whisky, but he is an adventurous investor.  He even creates a blended whisky brand called “Black & White” after the establishment of the distillery.
