Machrie Moor Single Malt Scotch Whisky

On the west coast of the Isle of Arran lies a windswept and mystical peat bog called Machrie Moor. Bronze Age stone circles and standing stones are strewn across its barren, undulating terrain.

One of the stone circles is known as Fingal’s Cauldron Seat, where sits a stone with a carved hole. The legendary warrior giant Fingal is said to have tethered his favourite dog Bran to this stone. Bottled at 46% without chill filtration or spirit caramel, this peated single malt displays all the freshness of our island house style, with an added puff of smoke and earthiness.

| Tasting Notes

Aroma: Fresh and vibrant with clear influence of the American oak casks. Ripe tropical fruits and coconut abound with a pleasant touch of peat-reek in the background.

Palate: Clean citrus notes mix beautifully with rich spice and an initial hint of peat. A few drops of water reveal more peat smoke balanced by a delicious honey & vanilla sweetness.

Finish: Crisp and clean with a swirl of smoke, vanilla and fresh apples.
