About King Arthur Series
King Arthur single cask collection is the first independent bottler in Greater China, PICT, self-owned brand, Or Sileis, single cask selection. It’s finely selected by Julie Lee, the judge of London area of IWSC. There are 12 casks in total in the whole collection, and planned to complete the selection within 2 years. The volume of each cask is varied, and each of them is cherry on top.
Or Sileis art director, Paul Houlders, has worked for the biggest on line game company, Electronic Arts. One of his famous works is “Battlefield 1”. With his great creativity, the label artwork of King Arthur collection will have more whisky lovers collect each cask.
Label Story
Bedivere is one of the King Arthurs roundtable knights, and very loyal to his king. Although he only has one arm, he has an excellent sword fighting skill, and he is the swiftest knight besides King Arthur. He is the only witness of King Arthur’s death as well.
When King Arthur is dying, Bedivere is asked to return the Caliburn to The Lady of The Lake. However, he gives up twice because it will cause the death of his king, and is blamed by King Arthur. He finally throws the Caliburn into the lake, and carry the dying king to the boat sailing to Avalon island. When King Arthur passes away, Bedivere spends the rest of his life in a monastery.
Distillery Introduction
Bruichladdich was established in 1881 by the Glasgow whisky maker William Harvey. It was the most advanced distillery on Islay. To make the purest spirit is the start of Bruichladdich distillery. However, the global economic recession in the 20th century causes many corporate companies choosing automatic whisky production, Bruichladdich chooses to close in order to maintain its hundred years of tradition. Fortunately, the distillery reopened in 2001, its whisky has a delicate and sophisticate taste which is distinctive from other Islay distilleries. It depends on the craftsmen’s skill and experience. Bruichladdich whisky contains both the tradition and innovation of the distillery.

【Tasting Note】
- It is a strong aroma of grapes in the beginning, with a hint of wood and black tea. A subtle dryness of grapes in the mouth, and barbecue and charcoal note appear later. Medium long finish with fresh herb and subtle dryness taste.
