About King Arthur Series

King Arthur single cask collection is the first independent bottler in Greater China, PICT, self-owned brand, Or Sileis, single cask selection. It’s finely selected by Julie Lee, the judge of London area of IWSC. There are 12 casks in total in the whole collection, and planned to complete the selection within 2 years. The volume of each cask is varied, and each of them is cherry on top.

Or Sileis art director, Paul Houlders, has worked for the biggest on line game company, Electronic Arts. One of his famous works is “Battlefield 1”. With his great creativity, the label artwork of King Arthur collection will have more whisky lovers collect each cask.

Label Story

Before accepting King Arthur’s conscription, Launcelot du Lac tells King Arthur that he has to go to a village called Bondavagon to get rid of a vicious dragon for the local residents. The dragon lives in a deserted castle, and has a big pair of wings, sharp canines and claws. As it opens its mouth, the residents will lose their homes and lives. Launcelot du Lac manages to kill the dragon with his invincible sword eventually.

Distillery Introduction

Longmorn distillery is located on the Rothes Road, which is in the middle of Elgin and Rothes, in Morayshire, Speyside. Longmorn is transformed from Gaelic “Lhanmorgund”, which means “The Holy Man/Church Field”. Longmorn whisky has a medium body, and complex flavors. Its medium sweetness has a fresh nutty flavor, along with malt, floral, honey, fruit, and stronger smoke flavors. It makes the best dressing for blended whisky, which is so popular for blenders. The distillery has never been closed for the past 116 years.

Before the whisky master, Michael Jackson, passed away in the August, 2007, his final comment about Longmorn was “one of the greatest malt whiskies in Speyside”.
